Trendbot feature guide
Step-by-step instructions to go live with Delta Scalping, plus an overview of dashboard features. The dashboard hides this setup walkthrough once your broker is connected — return here anytime.
Getting started — 6 steps to go live
Broker setup by provider
Select your broker for API key and whitelist instructions.
Delta Scalping bots
Two independent bots trade index options on 1-minute momentum signals with managed risk. Each bot runs only during market hours and stops automatically at end of day.
Delta Scalping Nifty
Trades NIFTY index options. Uses delta-momentum entries with ATR-based stop loss, breakeven, and profit lock trails.
Delta Scalping Sensex
Same strategy on SENSEX options. Can run alongside Nifty if you have sufficient capital.
Start / Stop
Start arms the bot for the session. Stop closes open positions and halts new entries. Disconnect broker to end the session entirely.
Capital requirements
₹15,000 minimum per bot. The dashboard reads start-of-day balance from your broker when connected.
Risk controls
Per-trade premium cap, hard stop cap, opposite-signal exit gating, dead-trade filter, and midday session filter.
Session P&L
Live session profit/loss and trade count update in the command center while bots are running.
Coins & billing
Coins are consumed when bots place live trades. Your balance shows in the dashboard header (COINS badge). Top up from the coins purchase flow when balance is low.
- Pro membership unlocks dashboard and broker access — separate from per-trade coins.
- View coin history on Coin transactions.
- Bots pause or reject orders if coins are insufficient — keep a buffer before market open.
Command center & pipeline
The command center shows real-time bot health and the order pipeline when bots are active.
Pipeline steps
- Signal — Strategy detects entry on the 1m chart.
- Risk check — Position size, premium cap, and session limits validated.
- Order — Option order sent to your broker.
- Manage — Stop loss, breakeven, lock, and trail updates while in trade.
- Exit — Target, stop, opposite signal, or EOD flat.
Status indicators
- Idle — Bot not started or market closed.
- Running — Bot active and scanning for signals.
- In trade — Open position being managed.
Troubleshooting
Connect Broker fails
- Confirm API key saved in Profile and access address whitelisted at broker.
- Wait 1–2 minutes after changing allowed connections at the broker.
- For Angel One, ensure TOTP is enabled and use the current 6-digit code.
- For Dhan, access token may need refresh — reconnect with a new token.
Enable broker access stuck on provisioning
- Refresh the dashboard after a minute. Contact support if status stays provisioning beyond 5 minutes.
Bot won't start
- Broker must be connected and balance must meet minimum capital.
- Check coin balance and active Pro membership.
- Only one instance per index — stop the other bot or wait for it to finish.
Need to change broker
- Disconnect broker, update Profile API settings, generate a new access link if switching broker provider.
